worked beautifully in ancient (25 year old) otoscope/ ophthalmascope handle. Much cheaper than buying a new kit!

The Amazon website promised a Welch-Allyn battery for medical use. I was sent some no-name replica instead by their vedor. The vendor tried, unsuccesfully, to persuade me that the battery was just as good as the Welch Allyn brand. To Amazon's credit, they refunded my money. The product is so cheap that the seller did not even ask me to return it! IF you need a reliable battery for medical use, beware of this bait & switch.

Just FYI, although the battery does seem to work, it is not a Welch Allyn. It is some Korean rip-off brand. Shady that seller does not mention that in the listing, however the battery does work.
